My 2007 Books of the Year

Oscar Wilde said “it is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.”

That said, here are my favorite books this year in no particular order:

1. Our Father Abraham by Marvin Lewis
2. Banker to the Poor by Muhammad Yunus
3. Mavericks at Work by William Taylor
4. The Fifth Discipline by Peter Senge
5. Good News About Injustice by Gary Haugen
6. Managing Transitions by William Bridges
7. Christ Centered Preaching by Bryan Chapell
8. The New Global Mission by Samuel Escobar
9. Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Ted Tripp
10. Abbas Child by Brennan Manning
Honarary in Every Year:
The Pursuit of God by A.W Tozer
The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard

Already know “The Reason for God” by Tim Keller makes my 2008 list thanks to this as well as The Shaping of Things to Come by Michael Frost and Alan Hirsch (not deep enough into either to make the 2007 list)
